# Polymarket Gamma API: /markets/keyset (the replacement) changes field types, not just pagination

## Claim
`GET /markets/keyset` is the documented replacement for the deprecated `/markets` (see
companion record). It wraps results in `{"$schema": ..., "markets": [...]}` instead of a bare
array, and at least one field changes JSON type for the identical market: `liquidity` is a
JSON number (`681014.31525`) on `/markets` but a JSON **string** (`"681014.31525"`) on
`/markets/keyset` for the same market id on the same minute. The `outcomes`/`outcomePrices`
double-encoding (companion record) is unchanged on the new endpoint.

Body starts `{"$schema":"https://gamma-api.polymarket.com/schemas/MarketsKeysetListResponse.json",
"markets":[{"id":"559651",...,"liquidity":"681014.31525",...}]}` — same market id as the
`/markets` probe one minute earlier, which had `"liquidity":681014.31525` (number).
No `cursor`/`next` field was visible in the first 1500 bytes of this 2-row response; not
re-tested with a larger page to confirm the cursor parameter name.

## Applies to
`gamma-api.polymarket.com/markets/keyset` as of 2026-10-08. An agent that migrates off the
deprecated `/markets` by following the `Warning` header and swapping the URL, without
re-validating field types, will mis-parse `liquidity` as a string where it expected a number.
