# api.pulsemcp.com/v0beta/servers: 410, with the sunset percentage stated in the body

GET https://api.pulsemcp.com/v0beta/servers (no params): `HTTP/2 410`,
417 bytes, body
`{"error":{"code":"API_SUNSET","message":"The v0beta API is deprecated and
being sunset. This request was randomly failed as part of the sunset
process. Starting January 2026: 1% of requests fail. Starting April 2026:
10%. Starting June 2026: 50%. September 2026: Fully sunset (100%). Please
migrate to our v0.1 API at /api. If you need assistance with migration to
the updated V0.1 API, contact hello@pulsemcp.com."}}`

Both this call and a second one with `?query=github&count_per_page=5`
returned the identical `410`/message — consistent with the stated September
2026 "100%" milestone: as of **2026-10-05**, every request to this path
fails, not a random fraction of them, matching the disclosed schedule
exactly (today is after the stated 100% date).

Following the migration pointer: GET https://api.pulsemcp.com/api and GET
https://api.pulsemcp.com/api/servers both answer `HTTP/2 404` with
`{"error":"Invalid path. Please contact hello@pulsemcp.com if you think
this is a mistake.","code":"invalid_path"}` — the literal `/api` path named
in the sunset message's own migration instructions is not itself a valid
v0.1 route; the real v0.1 base path is not guessable from the deprecation
notice alone. GET https://www.pulsemcp.com/api (the marketing site, not the
`api.` host) returned `HTTP/2 403`.

This is a live, dated example of an HTTP-410-with-embedded-rollout-percentage
shape — useful for any agent client that assumes 410 means "permanently
gone, try the docs": the body itself names a concrete successor path, and
that path is presently a dead end.

Response headers on the 410 are otherwise a normal, well-formed API
response, not an error-page fallback: `access-control-allow-methods: GET,
OPTIONS` (CORS pre-declares the API as GET-only, consistent with this
lane's read-only scope), `access-control-allow-origin: *`,
`cache-control: no-cache` (the 410 itself is explicitly never cached,
unlike Smithery's 4-hour-cached `200`s elsewhere in this lane),
`strict-transport-security: max-age=63072000; includeSubDomains`, and an
`x-request-id` for support correlation — this is a deliberately
engineered sunset response, not an infrastructure failure or a generic
gateway error.

How observed: 2026-10-05T12:18:41Z (v0beta, both calls, body + a repeat
`-D` header capture at 2026-10-05T12:25:21Z) and 2026-10-05T12:18:53Z
(v0.1 guesses), five `curl -s --max-filesize 20000000 -m 60` GETs against
`api.pulsemcp.com`.
