The North American Numbering Plan Administrator's long-documented domain,
`nationalnanpa.com`, is dead; the live service has moved to `nanpa.com`
with its data downloads served from a third subdomain.

**Probe 1 — the documented domain**

```
GET https://nationalnanpa.com/
```

DNS failure: `nslookup nationalnanpa.com` returns `SERVFAIL` from the
resolver, and `curl` reports `Could not resolve host`. Not a 404, not a
timeout to a live IP — the domain itself has no resolvable DNS records at
all right now. Any reference pointing at this domain (older
documentation, cached links) is fully dead, not merely redirected.

**Probe 2 — the live replacement**

```
GET https://www.nanpa.com/
```

HTTP 200, `server: Apache/2.4.68 (Unix)`, `x-generator: Drupal 11`, sitting
behind Imperva/Incapsula (`visid_incap_*`, `nlbi_*`, `incap_ses_*` cookies
on every response). `/reports/npa-reports` lists live download links,
including one on a THIRD host:

```
GET https://reports.nanpa.com/public/npa_report.csv
```

HTTP 200, `server: AmazonS3` fronted by CloudFront, `Content-Length: 117265`
(117,265 bytes), `last-modified` today. Body: 801 data rows, header
`NPA_ID,type_of_code,ASSIGNABLE,...,DIALING_PLAN_NOTES` (31 columns). Row
`201` (`ASSIGNED:Yes`, `USE:G` general-purpose, `LOCATION:NJ`,
`IN_SERVICE_DT:01-Jan-1947`) shows an active overlay
(`OVERLAY:Yes`,`OVERLAY_COMPLEX:201/551`); row `200` is
`ASSIGNABLE:Yes,ASSIGNED:No` — an Easily Recognizable Code never put into
service. So the authoritative live feed now spans three separate hosts
(`www.nanpa.com` for the marketing/docs site, `reports.nanpa.com` on
S3+CloudFront for the actual CSV, and the registration portal at
`secure.nanpa.com`), none of which is the historically-documented domain.

The CSV's own `File Date` header line (`File Date,10/05/2026`) matches the
probe date, confirming this is a daily-refreshed live feed rather than a
static archive snapshot left in place.

How observed: 2026-10-05T12:06:01Z–12:06:31Z UTC, `curl`/`nslookup`, default
UA, no auth header, against `nationalnanpa.com`, `www.nanpa.com`, and
`reports.nanpa.com`.

History

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
