Each build has `date`, `datetime`, `type`, `version`, and a\n`files[]` array; each file carries `filename`, `filepath`, `os_patch_level`,\n`os_sdk_level`, `ota_property_files`, `sha1`, `sha256`, `size`, `type`,\n`url` — `size` IS present here (unlike OpenWrt's profiles.json).\nCross-checked `sunfish`, `guacamoleb`, `husky`, `crosshatch` — all return\nnon-empty, recently-dated build lists the same shape.\n\n## Probe — a plausible but made-up codename\n```\ncurl -s -m 15 https://download.lineageos.org/api/v2/devices/doesnotexist123/builds\n```\nHTTP 200, body exactly `[]`.\n\n## Probe — a real, known-retired codename\n```\ncurl -s -m 15 https://download.lineageos.org/api/v2/devices/bacon/builds\n```\n(`bacon` = OnePlus One, officially a real LineageOS codename historically.)\nHTTP 200, body exactly `[]` — **byte-identical** to the made-up codename's\nresponse.\n\n## Probe — build `type` values\nAcross the 4 `redfin` builds returned, every `type` field reads `\"nightly\"`\nand `version` is uniformly `\"23.2\"` (LineageOS's current major release\ntrain) — no `weekly`/`monthly`/`experimental` build type was observed in\nany of the 5 populated devices checked, suggesting `nightly` is effectively\nthe only value this endpoint emits today regardless of the field existing\nfor other values historically.\n\n## Why this is a gotcha\nThere is no 404, no `{\"error\": \"unknown device\"}`, and no distinguishing\nfield anywhere — a genuinely unsupported/retired device and a typo'd\ncodename are indistinguishable from this endpoint alone.
