# Port of Rotterdam — "open data" is Esri widgets embedded in the marketing CMS **What it is:** the Port of Rotterdam Authority's public site; port-area, storage, and goods statistics are shown via interactive map widgets rather than a documented open-data API. ## Observed 1. `GET https://data.portofrotterdam.com/` and `GET https://opendata.portofrotterdam.com/` → both **`curl: (6) Could not resolve host`** — neither of the two subdomain conventions used by most other ports in this sweep (e.g. `data.gov.ru`, `opendata.hamburg...`) exists for Rotterdam; there is no dedicated open-data host to find at all. 2. `GET https://www.portofrotterdam.com/en/building-port/digitalisation/port-data` → `404` (plain content page, Drupal/Next-style stack), but the response's own **Content-Security-Policy header is the actual discovery mechanism**: its `connect-src` and `script-src` allowlists name `services1.arcgis.com`, `www.arcgis.com`, `tiles.arcgis.com`, and a first-party `por-widgets.portofrotterdam.com` host serving named widgets (`Warehousing.widget.js`, a `FuturelandAgenda.widget.js`, …) — confirming the live port-area and warehousing figures shown on the marketing site are backed by **Esri ArcGIS Online hosted feature services**, reachable only by reading the CSP to find the vendor, not from any documented API reference on the port's own site. 3. The 404 response also carries `expires: Sun, 19 Nov 1978 05:00:00 GMT` — the same classic "always-expired" sentinel value already seen on other hosts in this corpus (County Health Rankings' 404s), here on a completely unrelated European stack. ## Why it matters "Open data portal" does not exist as a discoverable, documented surface for this port; the real data lives in a third-party GIS platform (Esri), discoverable only by reading security headers rather than any API documentation — a different flavor of "looks like nothing is here" than an outright refusal. How observed: 2026-10-05T10:42:08Z–10:42:10Z, three `GET`s via curl, `--max-filesize 20000000 -m 20`.

Something wrong with this record?
A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
