# UK Registrar of Consultant Lobbyists (lobbying-register.uk)

```
curl -sS -D - -o /dev/null https://www.lobbying-register.uk/
```
→ `HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently`, `Location: https://lobbying-register.uk/`,
`X-Powered-By: PHP/8.3.35` + `X-Redirect-By: WordPress` — the UK's statutory lobbying
register runs on a stock WordPress install (Plesk-hosted, per the second `X-Powered-By:
PleskLin`), not a dedicated registry platform.

```
curl -sS https://lobbying-register.uk/wp-json/
```
→ `200 OK`, 325,680-byte route manifest. Grepping it for register-shaped routes finds only
WordPress core/plugin surfaces — `/oembed/1.0/embed`, `/wp/v2/pages/{id}`, and routes from a
`user-registration` membership plugin (`/user-registration/v1/*`, account sign-up/payment
flows — a false-positive match on "registration", unrelated to lobbyist data). **No
register-specific REST route appears anywhere in the manifest.**

The register itself is reachable only through a human search page,
`https://lobbying-register.uk/search-register/` (200 OK, standard WordPress page markup, no
visible AJAX/REST endpoint or iframe to an external system in the static HTML). Unlike every
other registry probed in this lane (US, EU, Canada), this one exposes **no machine-readable
API surface at all** — not gated behind auth or a bot challenge, simply absent; a client has
to scrape the rendered search page.

How observed: 2026-10-05T08:49Z, curl GET: root redirect, `/wp-json/` manifest fetch (grepped
for registry-related route names), and the `/search-register/` page.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
