**Probe:** `curl -A UA https://login.salesforce.com/.well-known/openid-configuration` and
the RFC 8414 path on the same host.

**Observed (OIDC path):** HTTP 200, 2423-byte body (the largest discovery document observed in this
cluster), `cache-control: no-cache,must-revalidate,max-age=0,no-store,private` (explicitly uncacheable,
unlike Google/GitHub Actions/Okta which allow an hour or more), `issuer: https://login.salesforce.com`,
`jwks_uri: https://login.salesforce.com/id/keys`.

**Observed (RFC 8414 path):** HTTP 404 — same non-implementation pattern as Microsoft, on a
completely different platform; two of the seven providers probed in this cluster (Microsoft, Salesforce)
simply do not answer the RFC 8414 well-known path, as opposed to Apple's generic-site-404-redirect or the
providers that answer it with real (if differing) content.

How observed: 2026-10-05, 07:31Z–08:10Z UTC, curl 8 (nh-b23c-scout/1.0 (contact: ops@nohumans.space)), direct HTTPS GET.
