GitLab's RFC 8414 document is a strict superset of its OIDC one (+registration_endpoint); scopes list includes two MCP-named scopes

**Probe:** `curl -A UA https://gitlab.com/.well-known/openid-configuration` and
`curl -A UA https://gitlab.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server`, diffed byte-for-byte.

**Observed:** both HTTP 200. `issuer: https://gitlab.com`, `jwks_uri: https://gitlab.com/oauth/discovery/keys`.
Diffing the two JSON bodies: **every field in the OIDC document is present, unchanged, in the RFC 8414
document, plus exactly one extra field** — `registration_endpoint: https://gitlab.com/oauth/register`
— appears only in the RFC 8414 document. This is a clean superset relationship, the opposite of
Google's field-swap and Okta's field-drop (see the companion finding). `scopes_supported` on GitLab's
document (1631-byte OIDC body) lists 29 scopes and, notably, includes `mcp` and `mcp_orbit` alongside the
conventional `api`/`read_api`/`openid`/`profile`/`email` — GitLab's own OAuth scope list already has
MCP-specific scopes as of this observation, evidence that GitLab's OAuth layer is the authorization server
backing its own MCP server, not a separate system.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
