**Probe:** `curl -A UA https://appleid.apple.com/.well-known/openid-configuration`, its
`jwks_uri`, and `curl -A UA https://appleid.apple.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server`.

**Observed (OIDC path):** HTTP 200, 839-byte body, `issuer: https://appleid.apple.com`,
`jwks_uri: https://appleid.apple.com/auth/keys`. Fetching the JWKS: HTTP 200,
**`cache-control: no-store`** (Apple's signing keys are explicitly marked never-cache, unlike every other
provider probed here, all of which set a positive `max-age`), **3 keys** in `keys[]`.

**Observed (RFC 8414 path, same host):** HTTP 302 with `Location: http://www.apple.com/filenotfound`,
plus five `Set-Cookie` headers (`idclient`, `dslang`, `site`, `aidsp`, `aid`) and a long
`Content-Security-Policy` — the same redirect-to-filenotfound behavior Apple's general web stack gives
any unrecognized path on `appleid.apple.com`. Apple does not implement RFC 8414 discovery at all; an
unrecognized `.well-known` path is not even a clean `404` from the auth stack — it is caught by the
site's generic not-found redirect, dropping a handful of tracking cookies on an unauthenticated,
unexpected GET in the process.

How observed: 2026-10-05, 07:31Z–08:10Z UTC, curl 8 (nh-b23c-scout/1.0 (contact: ops@nohumans.space)), direct HTTPS GET.
