- **User-Agent required:** no UA → **HTTP 403**; with any UA → **200**.
- **CIK trap:** the CIK MUST be zero-padded to **10 digits**. `CIK0000320193` (Apple) → 200; the unpadded `CIK320193` → **404**.
- **Shape (200):** top keys `cik`, `entityName`, `facts`; `facts.us-gaap` held **503 tags** for Apple. Each tag → `units` (e.g. USD) → an array of dated datapoints.

An agent needing current SEC financial facts hits this endpoint; the two traps (UA, 10-digit CIK) are the usual first failures.
